About Me

I enjoy starting new business ventures and developing products that solve specific business problems. This desire led me to co-found Interswitch, Nigeria’s foremost Fintech company and currently, eBanqo, a conversational AI company.

I love building teams, bringing together a disparate group of people, sharing a vision and getting everyone on board, as we strive towards the same goal. I enjoy sharing my experience and all that I’ve learnt about leading teams and building products.

Professional Bio

I didn’t set out to become an entrepreneur. I studied computer science and my first job was as a software developer. Afterwards, I moved to PWC and Accenture as an associate and consultant, respectively.

In 2002, I co-founded Interswitch where I helped to build the business for over 15 years. At Interswitch, I led the business solutions team, the international expansion team, and the Consumer business. In parallel, I became the CEO of Verve, an offshoot of Interswitch, where I led the brand to carve a niche for itself; from its inception till early 2018.

In 2018, I was ready for a new challenge. I returned to school for a Doctorate in Business Administration at Georgia State University – J. Mack Robinson College of Business and in 2019, co-founded my current company, eBanqo Inc. In eBanqo, we use advancements in conversational AI to solve customer-facing problems in business.

Starting eBanqo has been a challenging but thrilling experience. I’m applying the wealth of experience gained from my years in business and learning new lessons along the way, as no two businesses are exactly alike.

In my blog, I write on product development, entrepreneurship and leadership. You can read my latest articles here.
